Purpose 

The purpose of this knowledge article is to advise if aluminum lugs like LAA350 are rated for compact aluminum wire.

Procedure 

Yes. Generally, when we do UL testing we use compact wire to have the connector tested for CSA certification, in addition to UL listing.

Going off the LAA350, which takes 350 aluminum wire, it’s showing that these are both CSA and UL compliant.

Therefore, the testing was performed on the compact wire with the Brown 87 die.
