How to change the Smartzone service account password

Introduction
Smartzone uses 3 services to operate, generally one account is used to run all 3 services. Smartzone will run using the Local System account but its recommend that Smartzone has a dedicated service account. You can use separate accounts for each service but this is not necessary.
Purpose
This document will show you how to change the password for all the service accounts.
Requirements
Remote desktop admin access to the server.Procedure
- If you have a domain service account please skip to stopping the services one you have obtained a new password.
- Click the Windows start menu and type “lusrmgr.msc”
- Right click on the Smartzone service account and select “Set Password”
- Set a new password and when complete close the “lusrmgr.msc” window.
- Click the Windows start menu and type “Services.msc”
- Find and stop the 3 PIM services.
- Starting with Licensing service right click and select properties and then the Log On tab.
- Change the password to the for the account to the new one and click ok.
- Start the service.
- Repeat for the other two services.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter the below error then you have probably input the password incorrectly.
