'No Battery' alarm for 1-3 kVa Lithium Battery UPS Models

Introduction

When the battery is low, the Battery Disconnected alarm is expected and should auto-occur when the battery is unplugged.

The detection cycle should be 30 minutes, but it may occur earlier.

 

Purpose

To explain this is working as Best Effort and no further actions will be taken to address 

 

Requirements 

No further actions are required
 

 

Procedure 

  1. If the battery on the UPS is disconnected with a wait over 30 minutes, the alarm does not occur.
  2. When disconnect the battery, then run a manual battery test, the alarm does occur.

Troubleshooting 

 

 If the No Battery alarm does not occur after a 30-minute depletion, run a manual battery test
