Introduction
Most end users are not recommended to downgrade their firmware due to the security fixes included in firmware updates. However, we understand that there may be situations where a downgrade is necessary. This article explains the steps required in that process.
Purpose
This article explains the steps required to downgrade the G6 PDU firmware from version 5.2.5 to version 5.2.1 should this ever be a requirement.Requirements
- Interim G6 firmware version 5.2.1.5 (available by contacting Panduit System Support at systemsupport@panduit.com
- The user will require physical access to the PDU to reset to factory defaults.
Procedure
Panduit G6 Firmware version 5.2.5 includes enhanced security features.
