Introduction

Different models of Panduit UPS can be configured to use external batteries packs (EBP) to extend their runtime and their VA Load, this is why it is important that a proper connection between the UPS and EBP is established.

Purpose

This article outlines the proper method of a securing a connection between the UPS and the External battery pack (EBP)

Procedure

  1. Verify Battery power cable plug is fully inserted to the UPS and EBP. (This may feel like a 2-Step push-in process. Push it securely all the way in.)
