1-3kVA UPS not providing output power work instructions

Purpose

Some systems that come with the Bypass mode user setting set to Disabled... the unit might be initially booting in Bypass mode, so when it turns on there are no outputs.

Procedure

  1. Go into the settings menu by pressing and holding down the up and down arrows for a quick second.
  2. Navigate to the option that states "bEN" and ensure it is set to "ON".
  3. Hold the "ON" button and you will hear an audible beep, which will enable the inverter to run in NOR mode.
  4. The UPS should start providing output power, and you will notice an orange  symbol which means the UPS is in a bypass state.

Troubleshooting

If the UPS is still not providing any output power after the procedure had been completed, then power cycle the unit by completely shutting down the inverter.
