How to set input on dual rated PDU

Introduction

Panduit produce a range of dual rated PDU’s to meet UL and CE approval required regions of the world. You have the ability to change the rating of the PDU to suit the input power.    

 

Purpose

Changing the rating of a PDU will allow the PDU to correctly monitor the power on the PDU.

Requirements

Dual rated PDU
Access to the PDU via SSH.
SSH client. 

Procedure

  1. Log into the PDU via the web interface.
  2. Click the network setting in the configuration menu.
  3. Check and enable the SSH access if disabled.

  1. Open the SSH client such as putty and connect to the PDU.

  1. Using the admin credential log into the PDU.

  1. Enter the command “sys dualinput set EMEA” or “sys dualinput set NA” to switch the PDU’s input setting.
