How to Setup SNMP V1/V2c Configuration for ES2P PDU

Introduction (H2)

This document describes the step-by-step guide to configure Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) V1/V2c for ES2P PDU.

Purpose (H2)

ES2P PDUs can send SNMP traps to external SNMP server, or it can also be managed by third-party DCIM applications through SNMP.

Requirements (H2)

• Access to ES2P PDU web console with administrator privileges
• SNMP community strings and manager details
   

Procedure (H2)

1. Log in to ES2P PDU web console with administrator privileges

2. Click the gear icon > SNMP

3. Under SNMP Configuration, fill in the necessary information and tick the box that corresponds to either SNMP V1 or SNMP V2c, trap server IP address, and the read and write community strings.

Note: default SNMPV1 trap port is 161

4. Click Apply to save all the changes and enable SNMP.
