Purpose

This article describes the procedure to resolve the scrambled screen issue described above.

Requirements

As with any issue, you should Ensure that the PDU is running the latest version of firmware, this can be downloaded from the Panduit Download Centre here https://www.panduit.com/en/support/download-center/power-distribution-units.html
Ensure that the correct version is selected if you have security handles connected to the PDUs

For this specific issue, you will just need a tool to push the reset button on the controller, such as a straightened paperclip or similar

Procedure

  1. Press and hold the Reset Button for 8 seconds. This will cause a reset of the INC controller.

The stored configuration will be retained during this process.
Once the controller has finished resetting, the display should return to normal, if it does not, please raise a support case by emailing systemsupport@panduit.com
NOTE that holding the reset switch for greater than 20 seconds will result in the configuration resetting to default settings.
